The WISE Fun Run, organized by The WISE Foundation, is one of the Waugh School District’s largest annual fundraisers for students’ music, art, library and computer programs. The goal for this year’s Fun Run is to raise $60,000!
The WISE Foundation is a non-profit community organization to help fund the music, art, library and technology programs for students in the Waugh School District. Without the financial support of our community, these programs wouldn’t exist in our schools!
Wednesday, October 5th, during the school day. Each student will bring home a pledge sheet after the Fun Run Kick-off Assembly on September 20th.
Meadow and Corona Creek schools, around the “WISE Fun Run Loops” on the playground. Note: most students will run 36 laps around the “Loops”, which are smaller than the school track.[
Students will do the running; we need YOUR help to make the Fun Run a success!
- All students do the running.
- All parents reach out to friends and family to collect pledges (flat donations or pledges per lap), starting September 14th.
- Two hundred parent/grandparent volunteers are needed for the event day, and some for the planning committee. If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please submit the form below or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, your child’s name, his/her teacher’s name and grade.
